A: The shoe is preserved with a lacquer and a normal wipe over with a dry soft cloth will maintain it.

A: No, it shouldn’t break or crack but the shoe should be treated and handled with care as with any other ornament.

A: It is a lifetime keepsake and therefore will last forever.

Q: Do I get the original shoe back?
A: Yes, the original shoe is actually plated with copper but cannot be worn again.

A: Yes, many things can be plated, from as small as a dummy to as large as a Wellington boot. Please contact us for further information and price.

A: Yes, most shoes can be plated but if we are in any doubt one of our technicians will contact you.

A: No, we will arrange the shoe in the most presentable way before plating.
